Khushal Khan Khattak University Karak(KKKUK) is a public sector university of Pakistan, chartered by Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Khushal Khan Khattak University was established in 2012. KKKUK is located in Karak, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The university is named after famous Pashtoon warrior and poet Khushal Khan Khattak. In May 2017, KPOGCL starts the company’s chair in the university in order to establish close liaison with the academia for which Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed in 2016. The University is widely known as an institution of strong performance and high ambition. It plays a significant role in developing endemic human resources through its highly productive achievement, both in sciences and humanities.

The Department of Computer Science and Bioinformatics maintains state-of-the-art Computer laboratories and Bioinformatics Laboratories for use by students and faculty.
