Department of Computer Sciences – University of Science and Technology Bannu

UST BannuUniversity of Science and Technology Bannu (USTB) is a public sector university, chartered by Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. University of Science and Technology Bannu was established in 2005.  UST Bannu is paving towards the journey to impart high quality education in the fields of Life Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences, Business Studies and Humanities. Since its inception, the UST Bannu is pursuing its mission successfully. Presently Bachelor, Master and PhD level degrees are offered. It is worth mentioning that the number of students would increase by initiating new faculties and higher enrollment rate in colleges of the affiliated region.

The Department of Computer Science was established in 2005 in the Institute of Information Technology, UST Bannu. But later on in 2011 the name of IIT changed to Institute of Engineering and Computing Sciences (IECS), which is located in City Campus – A, Kohat Road Bannu City. Department of Computer Sciences  is one of the old and well established department of the University. The faculty of the department contains of professional and experienced teachers.   The department have own state of Art Laboratories facilities and dedicated qualified and experienced faculty.

Department of Computer Sciences is currently offering following undergraduate and graduate programs.

  1. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (4 year/8 Semesters)
  2. Master in Computer Science (2 year/4 Semesters)
  3. MS Computer Science
  4. PhD Computer Science
