National University of Technology(NUTECH) is located in Islamabad. It was established in 2018. The National University is chartered by Government of Pakistan and recognized by HEC Pakistan.
NUTECH is public university run by Frontier Works Organization (FWO), a department of Pakistan Army. NUTECH is the first chartered university for “National and Global Industry”. NUTECH introduces the culture of undergraduate technology research communities in line with the best international practices of world’s top ranking technology universities.
The mission of the NUTECH is to produce creative and technically sound engineering technologists augmented by well trained technical workforce, and knowledge creation in a friendly environment, through modern academic systems, best learning practices and research collaborations.
Through its unique NUTECH skills development framework (NSDF), the university is poised to transform prevalent education standards of technology implementer and diploma associates and convert them into most productive workforce facilitating national industrial growth and prosperity for Pakistan.
A unique feature of the NUTECH is the establishment of existing, emerging and future technologies driven labs system at NUTECH. NUTECH Technology Labs (NUTL) system are planned and designed in line with the best international practices of world’s leading technology universities.
