Mehran University of Engineering and Technology(MUET) Jamshoro is a public sector university of Pakistan, chartered by Government of Sindh and recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Mehran University of Engineering and Technology was established in 1976 as the campus of University of Sindh and after one year in 1977 MUET was chartered as an independent University. MUET is located in Jamshoro about 15 km away for Hyderabad, Sindh.
Mehran UET has transformed and evolved from undergraduate degree awarding institute to Research University in last 10 years. Mehran UET is committed to raise the research quality by employing PhD’s in conventional fields as well as in emerging areas of engineering & Technology. In this context, Mehran UET is fortunate to have wealth of resources of high quality faculty members, who produce research papers in impact factor journals, in addition to production of quality PhD’s every year in Engineering & Technology. The Department of Computer Systems Engineering of MUET Jamshoro is a well recognized engineering program that has been producing quality engineers since 1984. Computer Systems Engineering is a discipline concerned with the design, analysis and application of computers. This discipline combines both Computer Science and Electronic Engineering. The discipline covers all aspects of computer hardware, software and their integration.
