Women University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir is public sector university of Pakistan, chartered by Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir and recognized by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. University is also affiliated with Pakistan Engineering Council. Women University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir was established in 2014 and located in Bagh (District of Azad Jammu and Kashmir). It is the first women university of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The University has two faculties that offer education in different degree programs, including under graduate and graduate programs.To provide an environment which enables students to develop their academic,normal,physical,professional and spiritual potential.It aims to promote the highest standards of academic excellence in teaching and research. Department of Computer Sciences and Information Technology is one of the old and well established department of the university. The Department of Information Technology was started in 2014 with the start of university. The faculty of the department of Computer Science and IT contains of professional and experienced teachers. The Department of Computer Sciences and IT focuses on producing Computer Sciences and IT professionals who are able to explore new dimensions in the computing domain, and look for emerging areas in which information technology may be applied.
