Comsats University Islamabad was established in 1998, as a project of the Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in South(COMSATS), which is an inter-governmental organization with 21 member states in three continents; Asia, Africa and Latin America, namely Pakistan, Bangladesh, China, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, Iran, Jamaica, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Nigeria, Philippines, Senegal, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
Comsats University Islamabad(CUI) is public sector degree awarding institution recognized by HEC of Pakistan and chartered by Government of Pakistan.
Computer Science Department of CUI is located in main campus. Computer Science Department having good research rating, variety of subjects, quality degree and friendly atmosphere for students.
